近年在健康檢查相關資源之投入越來越多，從基本檢查至高階健康檢查，服務項目琳瑯滿目。部分機構為吸引顧客考慮侵入性檢查，會提供鎮靜內視鏡，亦俗稱無痛內視鏡，然而侵入性檢查仍會有風險，在醫療過程中也可能發生非預期事故，或對執行電腦斷層檢查所施打之顯影劑產生不同程度的過敏反應等事件發生。
　　醫策會為維護健康檢查品質及確保安全、降低風險、強化品質，自2011年起辦理「健康檢查品質認證」，著重「安全及精準」，從受檢者的角度來檢視相關的服務，確保健康檢查過程安全與專業，鼓勵機構發展智能管理流程，提升檢查效率，並以受檢者為中心，提供客製化追蹤管理，增進受檢者的信賴感，逐步建立優質品牌口碑，成為民眾選擇健檢機構的首要參考。
　　Institutions have invested heavily in health checkup-related services in recent years, and there is a wide array of services ranging from basic to high-level health checkups. In some invasive procedures, institutions would offer a sedative endoscope (known as a painless endoscope). However, there are still risky with invasive procedures. Unexpected accidents may occur during the medical processes, and the contrast agent injected for computer tomography may also cause various levels of allergic reactions.
　　The Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT) has launched the “Health Check-up Program Certification” since 2011 to improve health check-up quality and to ensure safety, to reduce risks, and to enhance customer satisfaction. The goal of Health Check-up Program Certification focuses on “safety and accuracy,” inspect the relevant services from recipients’ perspective to ensure the safety and professionalism among the health check-up processes, encourage the organization to develop information management processes, improve efficiency, and provide recipient-oriented and customized tracking management. These efforts have increased a trustable, high-quality brand reputation, and become the primary reference for the people to select health check-up institutions.
